Court records in the court house at Salem, Indiana seems to show that John owned land in Washington County, Indiana where a deed is recorded in his name in Deed Book A. Mr. Bolen goes on to say that several of John's children went to Indiana and that others remained in North Carolina. Lucy Randolph is listed as John's wife.
