Cornie Gene (Barney) Lowe passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age of 78.
Barney was born in TN November 17, 1939. He served in the US Air Force from 1959 until retirement in 1980. Barney was the recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross. After retirement, Barney indulged his passion for flight in several aviation-related enterprises, including instructing, corporate piloting, aircraft consulting and sales, and fixed base operations.
He is survived by his wife of 30+ years, four siblings and their families. Barney was preceded in death by Benny and Lily Rotgers of Melburne, FL.
