Mrs. Julia A. "Ann" Davis, 97, of Haven Convalescent Center, formerly of 229 N. Daniels St., died at 9:48 p.m. Saturday at the convalescent center.
She was born in Hartsville, Ind., the daughter of Daniel and Sarah Clapp.
She was married to Ira F. Davis, Sept. 14, 1898, and he preceded her in death in 1948 and a daughter, Mrs. Edith Moore, died in 1965.
She was a member of Four Square Gospel Church.
Surviving are two sons, Fred and Otis P. Davis of Springfield; six daughters, Mrs. Elberta Keen, Mrs. Goldia Nelson and Mrs. Fern Gilbert, all of Springfield; Mrs. Vivian Valentine of Oklahoma; Mrs. Alta Klekamp of Litchfield; and Mrs. Nora Tilford of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; 26 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
