Margaret Posey Brubaker, 91, of Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, died there Friday of natural causes.
Mrs. Brubaker was the first woman elected to the board of trustees of Moravian Manor Inc., Lititz, serving for 18 years. She continued to volunteer there until the time of her death.
A homemaker for many years, she also worked at the former Lancaster County National Bank for 13 years.
Her memberships included King's Daughters, Daughters of the American Revolution, Lancaster County Historical Society, North Museum and Landis Valley Museum Associates.
A member of Lancaster Moravian Church, she served as a Sunday school teacher, chief sacristan and financial secretary.
She graduated from Stevens High School in 1922 and Sweet Briar College in 1926.
Her husband, Henry C. Brubaker, died in 1957.
Born in Collingswood, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Margaret Skelton Posey.
Surviving are two sons, Peter, husband of Margaret Brubaker of York, and Henry, husband of Leslie Brubaker of Swarthmore; four grandchildren; and a sister, Mildred P. Rehm of Mifflintown.
