CASSVILLE, Mo. … Ottie L. Reed, 95, Cassville, died at 4:45 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, 1996, at her home after a long illness.
Mrs. Reed was born Aug. 18, 1900, in Stone County. She had lived in Cassville since 1967. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church, Cassville.
She married Charles C. Reed on Aug. 26, 1922, in the state of Arkansas. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Reed, Frankfort, Ill., and Hubert Reed, Cassville; a daughter, Lavell Reed, Cassville; a half sister, Viola (Scott) Jackson, Amarillo, Texas; nine grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. The Rev. John Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter.
Pallbearers will be Sam Munday, Billie Jack Munday, Jackie Craig, Charles Reed Jr., Larry Reed and Ronald Reed.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
