A pilot, he was also a licensed flight instructor and enjoyed playing golf. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Anderson of Mount Ida; two daughters and sons-in-law; two sons and one daughter-in-law; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; two brothers; and nieces and nephews.
