  Catherine Shofner Birth 27 Mar 1762 Death 14 Jun 1823 (aged 61) Burial Shofner Cemetery Bedford County, Tennessee, USA Memorial ID 71857081 Catherine Shofner was born 27 May 1762. Her maiden name may have been either Cook or Roundtree. She married Martin Shofner 7 July 1780 and had 10 children. According to James R. Blanks, the remains of both Martin and Catherine Shofner were reinterred to the Shofner Luthern Church Cemetery circa 1961. There is no marker extant in this cemetery. Catherine died 14 June 1823 making her burial the earliest known for this cemetery.
