WILLIAMS, Thomas
Born May 15, 1923, in Center Ridge, Arkansas. Passed away September 4, 2007, in Ridgecrest, Calif. Thomas was a resident of Mojave, California where he was a mechanic. He was a soldier in the United States Army for 12 years, Thomas served heroically in both World War II and the Korean War, earning a Silver Star in the Philippines during World War II. Thomas worked extremely hard to provide for his family until he retired at 72 years old. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Thomas was also a lifetime member of the VFW. Thomas passed away peacefully in Ridgecrest in the loving home of his granddaughter and her husband surrounded by his family. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 58 years Motoko; daughter Louise Gibbons; son and daughter-in-law Thomas Jr. and Kathy; son and daughter-in-law Eddie and Ruth Ann; nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother, six sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Lodis. Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, September 14, 2007, a t Joshua Memorial Park & Mortuary, Lancaster.
