  Who Thomas married is unknown but he had one child, Sarah. Land deeds of Bertie Co., Shows he purchased land there in 1733 and 1748. Also, his brother John sold him 100 acres on the West side of Catherine Creek Swamp on 6 Aug 1737. Thomas also inherited land from his father, William FREEMAN, Sr., as his will states as follows: To my son Thomas, The plantation whereon he now lives in the Indian Neck. Also my Negro boy called Emporor to be deliver to him at the death or marriage of my wife, Mary. Thomas is believed to have removed to Rowan Co., or possibly Tyrrell Co., and died prior to 1790.
