Gloria Alice Young Pless of Tullahoma passed this life on Monday, January 8th, 2017 at Alive Hospice of Murfreesboro at the age of 87. Mrs. Pless was born in Fayetteville, TN to the late Adolphus and Annie Cliff Young. During her life she worked in the hotel and restaurant industry, and locally she was the co-owner and manager of Bruce's Restaurant. She was also a devout member of the First United Methodist Church of Tullahoma. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Pless is preceded in death by her beloved husband, H. Bruce Pless; one grandchild, Micah Pless; and four sisters, Wilma, Dan, Levergne, and Jo. She is survived by two sons, Richard Pless of Tullahoma, and Ron Pless and his wife Loyce of Tullahoma; one daughter, Rebecca Pless of Hendersonville; two grandsons, Wesley Pless and his wife Jill, and Corey Pless and his wife Ginny; and three grandchildren, Olivia, Everett, and Daniel Pless. Visitation for Mrs. Pless will be held on Thursday, January 11th from 12:00-2:00pm at Kilgore Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00pm in the Kilgore Funeral Home chapel with Revs. Jack Hice and Ricky Wade officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
