MRS. ZONA MIZE, 63,
DIES EARLY TODAY;
RITES THURSDAY
Mrs. Zona Katherine Mize, 63, died Wednesday morning at 12:45 at her residence, suffered a stroke and never regained conscience.
Mrs. Mize ws born in Rome on November 23, 1874, and had spent her entire life here. She was the widow of the late Walter L. Mize, who for many years was a street car conductor here and a member of the Rome police department. He died on September 8, 1935.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mize will be held Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in the chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home. The Rev. Henry Tate, pastor of the East Twelfth Street Methodist church, will officiate, with interment in the family lot in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Mize is survived by one son, Jack Crymes; a brother, W. H. Strange; and six grandchildren, all of Rome.
Pallbearers, who are requested to meet at the Jennings chapel at 9:45 o'clock, will include Fred Moore, Earl Shedd, Paul Dougherty, Wesley Evans, Clifford Test and Howard Bryant.

Funeral services for Mrs. Zona Katherine Mize, who died early Wednesday morning at her residence in South Rome, will be conducted from the chapel of the Jennings Funeral Home Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, by the Rev. Henry Tate, pastor of the Eat Twelfth Street Methodist church. Interment will be in the family lot in Myrtle Hill cemetery.
