Funeral services for A.R. "Jug" Hatley, 60, of 1 Smoot, Phillips, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Phillips United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Hatley died at 1 p.m. Sunday following an apparent heart attack while quail hunting north of Bugbee Canyon. He had been an area resident since 1934 and was an inspector with the safety department at the refinery for Phillips Petroleum Co. and a member of Adobe Walls Masonic Lodge 1355.
Survivors are his wife, Lela of the home; one son, Mark, a student at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Okla.; two daughters, Mrs. Deanna Bales, and Mrs. Janet Smith, both of Phillips; three brothers, Ray Hatley, Borger, O.B. Hatley, Northlet, Ark., E.E. Hatley, McCurtain, Okla.; four sisters, Mrs. E.E. Miller, Mrs. Olean Lovell, Mrs. Beulah Wall, all of Tulsa, Okla., Mrs. Opal Holmes, Wagoner, Okla.; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services for A.R. "Jug" Hatley, 60, of 1 Smoot, Phillips, was at 10 a.m. today at the Phillips United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jack Ellzey, pastor, officiating.
Interment was in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.
Hatley died at 1 p.m. Sunday while on a hunting trip north of Bugbee Canyon.
Survivors are his wife, one son, two daughters, three brothers, four sisters and six grandchildren.
Active casketbearers will be J.D. Edmondson, Vern Platts, Joel Brazil, C.D. Flanders, Pete Stockstill, Hugh Hanson.
