Jo Nell Leaf Cunningham, 91, died on February 21, 2022 in Nocona, TX. She was born on Aug. 3, 1930 in Terral, OK to Alvis & Cammie Brunson Henderson. Jo Nell worked and retired as a nurse's aid. She loved to go dancing whenever she could. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Nocona. She married Slim Leaf who preceded her in death on Feb. 13, 1983. She then married Richard Cunningham who preceded her in death in 2005. She is also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Lana Lowry, sisters, Flo Dell Chavez, Sue Carr, brothers, Bob, Kenneth, Ray & Ted Henderson and grandchild, Kim Goin Busch. She is survived by her children, Mike Leaf & wife Joyce of Temple, OK, Sue Guinn & Rick Biddenstadt of Nocona, TX, Julie Tadlock & Cecil Matheson of Nocona, TX, sisters, Maxine Root of Baton Rouge, LA, Freda McClennen of Plano, TX, Pat Gunter of Wichita Falls, TX, Shirley Kuntz of Bullhead City, AZ, brothers, Bill Henderson of Texas, Rex Henderson of Nevada, Jim Henderson of Idaho, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 10 A.M. until service time at Jerry Woods Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11 A.M. with minister Jack McBride officiating. Interment will follow in Nocona Cemetery.
