Daughter of daughter of Eli Forrester (?1800-1845) & Mary Jordan. Eli died in 1845 in Lincoln Co., TN. Mary has a stone at Charity Cemetery in Stone County but there are no dates; she was born about 1802 and probably died between 1850 and 1860.
Married 1) Joseph Jefferson Howell, June 24, 1849 in Lincoln Co., TN. He died in the Civil War; burial unknown.

September 23, 2011 note from Mark and Kay, "I went to the library again tonight and I found the Republic Funeral home Record book and on Page 50 I found where they buried Sarah A. Howell in the Evergreen Cemetery. This still does not give us a location but we know she is there."
