She was born July 5, 1958, in La Junta, Colo., to Harold Harvey and Lois Virginia Randles Thompson. Survivors include her siblings, Clarissa Gay Thompson and Alton “Mort” Thompson, both of Syracuse, Twyla Diehl of Herndon, Shannon Craig Thompson of Lees Summit, Mo., and Amber Settles of Lamar. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Nathan Thompson; and her grandparents. A memorial service will begin at 10 a.m. MST Wednesday at the Wesleyan Church in Syracuse. Inurnment will follow at Syracuse Cemetery. Per Rhoebe Ann’s request, cremation will take place and there will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested to Lamar Area Hospice, either directly or in care of Peacock Family Funeral Home in Lamar.
