Correct spelling of Malysa is not yet resolved. It has also been shown as Massa, Massaey or Maschia. Recently found burial records list the spelling as Massa.
In the 1850 Census, Malysa/Massey and the children were living in Mercer County, near Celina. In the mid-1860s, the children left Ohio, and went west. apparently they didn't all leave at the same time, and it isn't known just when Massey went, or with whom. In 1870, she was living with Elias in Lancaster County, Nebraska, but must have gone later to Fremont County, Iowa, where John and Samuel lived, as she is buried there.
Her burial location is claimed as Fremont County, Robert Antrim Cemetery NE of Randolph, Iowa but a cemetery by this name has not been located. There is a family named Antrim buried at the Randolph Cemetery, Iowa but it is nor clear if this is the same cemetery which is on the NW edge of Randolph.
Originally buried in in the Antrim Cemetery (called the Robert Antrim Cemetery in Walker family history) and in Find A Grave is listed as Riverside (finally corrected in 2022). Located in part of SW 1/4 NE 1/4 Section 11, Riverside Township 70 Range 41, 1.05 acre. The cemetery is located east of Randolph about 1.2 miles east on route 184, then north half a mile and east 0.6 mile on a hill top on the north side of the road. The cemetery has been abandoned for years. Some burials have been removed to the Randolph Cemetery. Many headstones in the cemetery have been stolen or removed. There is no information that Massa was one of the burials that was moved.
