Oleta Mae Stone, 87, of Rogers, Ark., passed away Sun., May 9, 2021. She was born March 2, 1934, in Bentonville, Ark. to Thomas Ollett Ennes and Hester Parsadia Reece Ennes. Mrs. Stone graduated from Bentonville [Ark.] High School and attended Arkansas Tech.
Oleta loved to travel and turned that into a career when she joined her husband as an over-the-road truck driver; she retired with more than a million accident-free miles.
Mrs. Stone was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Robert Ennes*. For more than 65 years she was the loving wife of Selden "Wayne" Stone, who survives. Additional survivors are her daughter, Joyce Deal, sister, Bernece Whorton (Gary), grandsons Travis and Adam Deal, all of Bella Vista, Ark., granddaughter Courtney Cooke (Justin) of LaMesa, Calif., and numerous extended family members and dear friends.
Services will be held Thurs., May 13, 2021, at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Bentonville, Ark. Visitation begins at 1 pm and her Funeral Celebration of Life at 2 pm, followed by interment in Bentonville [Ark.] Cemetery.
