Evelyn Lucille "Mickey" Wells (Michl), age 89, of Columbus, passed away June 8, 2005 in Sandusky, Ohio. Preceded in death by parents Edith Carpenter-Ruby and Delbert Nicholas Michl and brother Dwight Michl. Survived by husband of 57 years, Joseph William Wells; sister, Donna Eaton of Virginia Beach, VA.; daughters, Sherry Cohagon and Cynthia Williams, both of Columbus; grandson, Corey (Jen) Chrysler, Columbus; granddaughters, Heather (Lance) Luscher, New Albany, and Mindy Williams, Chicago, Ill.; great-granddaughters, Lindsey Cohagon and Lexa Luscher; many church friends. Member of Maize Road Baptist Church for almost 40 years where she sang in the choir for over 10 years. U.S. Navy WWII veteran and Wave. She was a girl scout leader and volunteer worker. Loved books, bible reading, and her dogs. Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., where a funeral service will be held immediately following at 1 p.m. Interment Kingwood Memorial Park. Rev. Brett Castle officiating. In lieu of flowers family suggests contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 3380 Tremont Rd., Columbus, OH. 43221 in her memory.
