This shows that she has been married twice, and Stephan is from a previous marriage. James belongs to both of them
To: Papafrankh@aol.com Yes this is the one I have. I don't show anywhere they were married but I know this Read left her when she was PG dad never met or knew him. My Uncle JIm is elderly now in his 80's still lives in Colorado but he did not know of my dad ever being called Stephan but he was only like 3 or 4 when the census was taken isn't that strange they just change names and spellings etc.. I think Grandma Phyllis was wanting to forget the relationship or something. My dad died when I was young I was only 13 so never had a grown up conversation with him at all to find out what he might know. The 1920 census shows them with a son named Muriel. I have some pictures of Muriel and 2 of his sons if you would to see them.
