Danny Ray Hodges went to be with the Lord on February 15th 2019 at Fort Sanders Hospital in Knoxville.
He was born on November 24th 1953 in Knoxville TN.
He was an Englewood/Athens resident most of his life. Worked many years at Key Tire Company and Athens Tire. He retired and enjoyed most of his time fishing, camping, and most of all spending time with his grandchildren.
Preceded in death is His Mother Muriel Hodges, Sister Barbara Gail Hodges (Terry), sister Linda Moser, sister Dorothy Martin, and brother Homer Hodges.
Leaving behind his lifelong partner Patricia Thompson. Also Leaving behind a daughter Barbara Isaza and son in law Luis Isaza and Son Adam Hodges. Grandchildren Rachel Gaston, Aaliyah Devoer, Dominick Isaza, Damian Isaza, Andrea Isaza, and Jadarius Devoer (J.J). Great Grandchildren Addison Shader Cammie Shader Chandler Shader and Greyson Isaza. Also leaving behind Brother Jerry Hodges and sister in law Jo-Alta Hodges sisters include Mary King and brother in law Rick King, Joyce Vann and brother in law Danny Vann, and Kathy Bowers and brother in law Farrell Bowers Many Nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of his life is planned for Wednesday evening, February 20, 2019 at 8:00 PM in the Athens chapel of Companion Funeral Home located at 400 S White Street in Athens, TN with the Reverend Ronnie Crain officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM until the 8:00 PM service time.
The interment and committal service will take place on Thursday afternoon, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Hampton Cemetery in Englewood, TN with Dominick Isaza, Damian Isaza, James Bowers, Farrell Bowers, Marcus Beltran, and Isaack Beltran serving as pallbearers.
Companion Funeral of Athens is honored to assist his family with these arrangements.
