  The Texas line lists her as Becky Russell. A letter from her brother, T. P. C. "Thomas" RUSSELL in Obion Co., TN dated 26 May 1858 to Thomas addressed as brother-in-law stated that they owed some of the estate of their father to a man named John SISCO who lived in Stoddard Co., MO. He came for his share of Father's estate." Another letter dated 1 Oct 1859. Refers to a James (T.P.C.'s oldest child was named James) coming to visit them soon and should bring any news. He again asks them for money in regard to their settlement with John Sisco on their father's estate. Copies of these letters were received from John and Sherry SORRELLS from a trunk of papers that belonged to Jack SORRELLS in PoGrab, TN. Copy of a receipt: Received of Thos Sorrels by Gabriel Young $12 in full of my account for coffin this Apr 1 1868. signed by R. C. Blackwall. $12 would be for a full-sized coffin. (I believe that this is for Elizabeth). In addition, Thomas (a lunatic) was given a guardianship to James E. Sorrells. Perhaps because his mother had just died.
